Sinead O'Connor gained
musical notoriety in the secular rock and pop arenas in
the late 80s and early 90s. Five of her albums have gone
Platinum or multi-Platinum. During that time she became
highly controversial, especially after 1992 when she tore
up a picture of Pope John Paul II on an episode of SNL (in
protest over the sexual abuse occurring in the Roman Catholic
Church). Her retirement in 2003 proved to be short lived.
Listen to Amber interview this international star about
her new album, Theology, her journey of faith, and advice
she wished she had as a teenager.
